WIIS Brussels, in cooperation with Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung EU, invites you to join us as we continue to rethink peace and security in the context of our WIIS Consultations on Security. Whether you’ve joined us at a previous Consultation or not, this is an opportunity for WIIS Brussels members and friends of Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung to reflect and share personal experiences and perceptions of security.
For the upcoming edition, we will be joined by guest women from selected African countries and beyond, more specifically Senegal, South Africa and Ghana. This WIIS Consultation on Security will hold a space for safe exchanges on women and their roles in peace and security in Africa as we hope to generate further discussion on aspects of human security.

In order to create a safe space for all participants who want to share their thoughts and experiences, this event will not be recorded. In any event, this is not about what you will hear in substance, but rather about the experience of sharing with one another.
