2023 Report

WIIS Brussels is delighted to share our 2023 report with our community.

2023 was a year of active engagement. In a post-COVID world, beyond its ability to gather people and meet in person, WIIS Brussels reached out wide and far across borders, both online and in person. It delivered on its EU-funded project on Women and Counter-terrorism (WCT). The Steering Committee doubled down on its digital products, investing heavily on its podcasts. Mentoring & trainings continued to serve the Brussels-based community. It continued reaching out to women from conflict zones, from Ukraine to Afghanistan through conversations about security with experts from the Middle East to Columbia. The community continued to network in Brussels through its Happy Hours.
