Angelica Arámbulo is a political scientist and psychologist with an M.A. in Development Studies (Major in human rights, gender and conflict studies) from the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University. She also holds a specialization in Peace and Conflict Studies from the same university. Currently, Angelica works at the Consulate of Colombia providing assistance for Colombian migrants in Belgium and supporting the development of projects for their well-being. She has worked for several years as a public servant for the Colombian government on the reintegration of former combatants, diplomacy and the implementation of public policies for gender equality. Angelica also has experience as a researcher and consultant for projects associated with reducing social injustices and inequalities in Colombia, Spain, The Netherlands and Belgium. Her main areas of interest are peacebuilding, gender equality and mental health and she speaks Spanish, English and French.
